Make 2019 Your Healthiest Year Ever

Not only do we need to put the right things in our body but we also need to get rid of all the toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis. Dr. Zielinski recommends some effective ways to detoxify with essential oils as maintenance:

1. A detox bath 2-3 times a week

2. Oil Pulling with essential oils 3-4 times a week

3. Diffuse stress reducing essential oils such as lavender & mood boosting citrus oils regularly

4. Enhance your lemon juice and water morning detox by adding 1 drop of lemon oil 2-3 times a week

DETOX BATH WITH ESSENTIAL OILS:

1 cup Epsom Salts (plain)

1/4 cup Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tablespoon carrier oil (not regular coconut oil) or liquid Castile Soap

2 drops Lemon Essential Oil

5 drops Lavender Essential Oil

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix essential oils and carrier oil in empty tub

2. Pour in Epsom salts

3. Fill tub with water as warm as you can stand

4. Slowly pour apple cider vinegar into running water

5. Soak your whole body for 20-30 minutes

6. Get out of tub slowly before standing

OIL PULLING:

1. The best time is the FIRST thing in the morning

2. Swish 1-2 tablespoons of unrefined, organic coconut oil in your mouth for 20 minutes

3. Do this during your normal morning routine and 20 minutes won't seem long at all

4. Immediately afterwards spit it out and rinse your mouth with warm salt water for added antimicrobial properties

5. Be sure not to swallow the oil

6. Don't spit the oil in the sink because it will clog the drain

7. Finally, brush your teeth as normal

For even more effective detoxing while oil pulling, mix essential oils with unrefined organic coconut oil.

Essential oils carry some of the most potent antibacterial and anti-fungal properties on the planet so adding them to the oil pulling can only make them more effective. As the essential oils get absorbed by the oral mucosa, the body will enjoy their antioxidant and medicinal powers.

Add 1 drop each of clove, orange, lemon and peppermint essential oil with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.

Or if you're battling an infection or something, mix 1 drop each of clove, oregano and tea tree essential oils.
