In 2004, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and was given a year at most to live with the only two traditional options: mastectomy or a lumpectomy with 6 months of radiation and 6 months of chemotherapy. Since my husband, J.D., had practiced anesthesiology for almost 20 years, he had seen the devastation of many lives through conventional cancer treatment. When I received my diagnosis I became pro-active in my own healing process with the help of my husband's expertise. We were introduced to a bio-chemist who wrote my healing program with all natural supplements and therapies. The goal was to bring the body back into an alkaline state. Most disease begins when the body becomes acidic. In just one month I was feeling and looking younger and healthier than I had for years.
